William Lee Davidson Veterans Wall

It’s took some time to get everything together and the material, but we are excited to be making great progress. Our volunteers have been very dedicated to this Veterans Wall.
the Veteran’s Wall is to the left of the main entrance.
We got our final inspection Sept. 6, 2023. The engineer on this project was Black’s Engineering, and the concrete was donated by Black Concrete of Lexington. The General William Lee Davidson Veterans Wall was built by Ricky Lanier, Ronnie Leonard, and Chris Adkins. They are volunteering their time, so they are working between jobs. The brick was donated by Rudy and Kaye Rich of Asheboro. The engraved face bricks are also currently being finalized by Dwight London. We are excited to see this project move along.

We also have a POW/MIA Never Forgotten monument. It is beside the Veterans Wall. Old North State Flaggers, Wolfe Coating, and Cannon Metalwerks came together to make this possible for the park. It’s a metal kneeling soldier. It is mounted on its own Never Forgotten brick wall and illuminated at night.

You can send an email to commemoratinghonorinc@gmail.com for more information, or print the form below, and send it in along with your check of $35.00 for the brick.
We will keep you posted on our progress.

Veteran bricks for the General William Lee Davidson Veterans Wall are currently available.

***Forms are also available on the information board at the park entrance.
